Technical Specifications

• Moisture Adsorption: The internal desiccant media, typically silica gel, removes water vapor from the air before it can enter the reservoir or gear case.
• Particulate Filtration: Integrated filter elements capture solid contaminants, such as dust and debris, preventing them from entering the lubricant or hydraulic fluid.
• Visual Monitoring: The desiccant media is housed in a clear, impact-resistant casing, allowing for easy visual inspection of the silica gel, which changes color when saturated.
• Disposable Design: The unit is intended for single-use application and is replaced once the desiccant has reached its adsorption capacity or the filter element is obstructed.
• Integrated Check Valves: Many configurations of the DC-3 include internal check valves to isolate the system from ambient conditions, extending the life of the desiccant by preventing unnecessary airflow.
